Rule 303 - Petition to Appoint a Conservator for a Missing, Disappeared, or Detained Person(a) IN GENERAL. A proceeding to appoint a conservator for a missing, disappeared, or detained person is commenced by filing a petition on the form maintained by the Register of Wills or a form that is substantially similar in format and content.(b) ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS. The petition must be accompanied by the following documents on forms maintained by the Register of Wills or forms that are substantially similar in format and content: (1) a notice of hearing; and(2) a proposed order setting the hearing and directing publication.(c) EXAMINER AND VISITOR. No examiner or visitor will be appointed unless otherwise ordered by the court.(d) SERVICE. The petitioner must serve the petition, the order setting the hearing and directing publication, and the notice of hearing, in the manner provided by and on the persons listed in Rule 301(d).Adopted by Order dated March 4, 2022, effective 8/22/2022.
