Section 43-2 - Definitions

(a) "Processing costs" means the costs associated with butchering livestock and poultry. This includes cutting, grinding, or forming ground products into patties without any additives or fillers. Packaging entails vacuum-packing, freezing, or storing meat fresh.

(b) "Wyoming meat" means poultry, lamb, pork, beef or bison residing in Wyoming at the time of slaughter and donated by a Wyoming producer.

(c) "Wyoming producer" means any person engaged in the business of producing or causing to be produced for marketing, any Wyoming meat as defined above.
