Section 38-9 - Application

(a) The student may apply to the eligible institution for the Hathaway Scholarship at the same time the student applies for admission.

(b) The institution shall determine the student's Hathaway Scholarship eligibility.

(c) Eligible institutions shall meet the application process requirements set forth in these rules for scholarship eligibility. Applications shall be in the form prescribed by the Department.

(d) A student shall apply for scholarship within forty-eight (48) months from the date of high school graduation as indicated on the student's transcript, and shall initiate scholarship during the next eligible term.

  • (i) The Department or its designee may grant an exception for students pursuing a baccalaureate of applied science degree who meet requirements set forth in W.S. 21-16-1303(f), and for active military service, religious service, or other good cause shown.
