(a) Accreditation. A process by which each school assesses itself and is monitored by the state in order to identify strengths, plan and implement improvement, assure legal compliance and assure the public that children are learning in accordance with performance standards.
(b) Common Core of Knowledge. Areas of knowledge each student is expected to acquire at levels established by the school.
(c) Common Core of Skills. Skills each student is expected to demonstrate at levels established by the school.
(d) Compliance. Documentation that the school adheres to applicable statutes and regulations.
(e) Guidance Services. Services which include the following major functions:
(f) Health Services. An organized program provided by qualified personnel to identify and appropriately address potential and existing health problems among students.
(g) Related Services. An organized program provided by qualified personnel as identified in an Individual Education Program written in conformance with Wyoming Department of Education Special Education Rules and Regulations.
(h) Student Performance Standard. The school's statement of student learning expectations against which results are measured.
(i) Program. Any or all of the educational opportunities for students, either within or beyond the school day.
(j) School. Any educational program located in state funded institutions which pro- vides educational services to school age students who are assigned by state law to such institutions. (W.S. 25-1-201 )
