Chapter 1 Income Guidelines/Limitations
The maximum benefit amount is established by the Wyoming State Legislature under W.S. 42-2-103. Beginning July 1, 2008 and annually thereafter, the maximum payment level shall be adjusted for the percentage change in Wyoming cost-of-living index for the previous year as determined by the Department of Administration and Information. The table amounts are shown in the TANF state plan as approved by the Administration for Families and Children.
The maximum benefit amount is intended to cover the following items:
