Section 2-4 - Absence

The local registrar shall notify the deputy local registrar of her absence or incapacity unless unable to do so. The deputy local registrar shall thereupon immediately assume all duties and responsibilities of the local registrar. In case of any extended absence, the State Registrar shall be notified in writing by the local registrar or deputy local registrar.
