Section 32-11 - Limitations on Payments

Disproportionate share payments shall not exceed the disproportionate share hospital state allotment, except as otherwise required by the Social Security Act. In no event shall the Department be obligated to use State Medicaid funds to pay more than the State Medicaid percentage of disproportionate share payments due a provider.
