An Infection Control Program shall be established to prevent, identify, and control infections and communicable diseases.
(a) The infection control program shall be coordinated by the Psychiatric Hospital Administrator, the medical staff, and Director of Nursing Services, in conjunction with the Hospitals quality assurance and inservice training programs.
(b) Problems identified shall be reported to the medical staff, nursing and administration, and addressed in the Hospitals quality assurance management and inservice training programs.
(c) Documentation concerning corrective actions and outcomes shall be maintained.
