(a) Snow removal equipment used or contracted by a municipality or county to clear snow from public streets, roads, or highways may be equipped with one or more lights of a conspicuous color. These lights shall be placed as the municipality or county requires.
(b) WYDOT snow removal trucks shall have two amber warning lights mounted on each outside corner above the cab. These lights shall be mounted to be visible directly to the front, rear, and sides of the vehicle.
(c) WYDOT sanders shall have one amber rear-facing warning light mounted with the center of the lens above the top of the spreader box on the left-hand corner of the spreader box. Sanders shall also have one blue rear-facing warning light mounted with the center of the lens above the top of the spreader box on the right-hand corner of the spreader box.
(d) WYDOT wing plows shall have two amber warning lights mounted at the upper portion of the mold board. One light shall be installed so that it is visible directly behind the truck when the wing is stowed. The other light shall be installed so that it is visible directly behind the truck when the wing is in use.
(e) WYDOT motorgraders and loaders shall have at least one amber warning light mounted on top of the cab to be visible directly to the front, rear, and sides.
(f) WYDOT self-propelled rotary plows shall have at least one amber warning light mounted on top of the cab to be visible directly to the front, rear, and sides.
(g) WYDOT liquid application equipment shall have one amber rear-facing warning light mounted above the top of the tank on the left-hand corner. The tank shall also have one blue warning light above the top of the tank on the right-hand corner.
