Section 10-17 - Wildlife Health Requirements

All persons importing wildlife that require a certificate of veterinary inspection under this regulation shall comply with provisions of Appendix I or II prior to importation. Wildlife shall not be diverted from the destination stated on the permit and on the certificate of veterinary inspection without prior approval of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Wildlife entering Wyoming in violation of this regulation or without a proper certificate of veterinary inspection may be held in quarantine at owner's risk and expense and, further, owner or owner's agent shall not allow said wildlife to be moved, turned loose or to escape, but shall be held subject to the order of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. All persons importing game birds under terms of Wyoming Statute § 23-5-102 and Wyoming Game and Fish Commission Regulations; fish under terms of Wyoming Statutes § 23-2-208, § 23-4-101, § 23-4-102, § 23-4-103, § 23-5-202, § 23-5-203, § 23-5-204 and Wyoming Game and Fish Commission Regulations, shall comply with the certificate of veterinary inspection requirements and provisions of Appendix I or II of this regulation.
