As used in these regulations, the following terms shall have the following meanings unless the context or subject matter clearly requires a different interpretation.
(a) Accredited Program. An accredited program is a respiratory care educational program which is sponsored by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in collaboration with tlhe Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or their predecessor or successor organizations.
(b) CRT. Certified Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the NBRC.
(c) NBRC. National Board for Respiratory Care.
(d) RRT. Registered Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the NBRC.
(e) Revocation. The withdrawal of licensure or certification privileges for cause after adjudication.
(f) Suspension. The temporary denial of the rights of licensure or certification for cause as defined under the Administrative Procedures Act.
