Section 7-2 - Leasing of Facilities on Competitive Basis

Leasing shall be done using a formal "Request for Proposal" (RFP) process.

(a) Notice of RFP shall be given by advertising in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the community where the leased space is needed. Notice will be advertised a minimum of three consecutive weeks prior to the date for accepting proposals. Notice shall include description of space needs and other facility requirements. Proposals shall be received and opened by the Purchasing Section of General Services Division of the Department of Administration and Information.
