Section NR 417.01 - Applicability; purpose(1) APPLICABILITY. This chapter applies to all air contaminant sources which emit sulfur dioxide or other sulfur compounds and to their owners and operators.(2) PURPOSE. This chapter is adopted under ss. 285.11, 285.13 and 285.17, Stats., to categorize sulfur dioxide and sulfur compound air contaminant sources and to establish emission limitations for these sources in order to protect air quality.Wis.
