1.1. Scope -- These procedural rules shall govern the time periods within which contested claims before the Workers'Compensation Office of Judges shall be decided.1.2. Authority -- W. Va. Code §§ 23-5-8, 23-5-9, 29A-3-3.1.3. Filing Date -- April15, 2004.1.4. Effective Date -- July 1, 2004.1.5. Purpose -- The purpose of this rule is to establish time standards for the processing of protests before the Workers' Compensation Office of Judges in order that the parties to such litigation may receive decisions without unreasonable delay.1.6. These rules supersede those promulgated with an effective date August 1, 1999.
