Section 91-6-3 - Application for License to Sell, Lease, Rent, and Auction Motor Vehicles3.1. All applications for a license to deal in motor vehicles, including the selling, renting, or leasing of new and/or used motor vehicles, operating an automobile auction business, and operating as a wrecker/dismantler/rebuilder of motor vehicles, shall be submitted on the form approved by the Commissioner, which contains all information required by W. Va. Code § 17A-6-4, the certificate of insurance described in §17A-6-4(a) and the bond payable to the State described by §17A-6-4(f). The applicant shall provide all information with as much detail as required and must pay the required fee. If the applicant fails to do so, the Division may return the application to the applicant without further processing. An inspection of the proposed location will be performed and any other investigation the commissioner considers necessary before a license will be approved.3.2. If an applicant wishes to engage in more than one class of dealership, a separate license certificate must be obtained for each type of dealership.3.3. All licensees identified in any section of this rule must participate in the Division's electronic lien and title program.
