Section 78-20-1 - General1.1. Scope -- This rule establishes minimum standards and procedures for the registration of informal and relative family child care homes under the provisions of W. Va. Code § 49-2-101, et seq., and related federal and state codes.1.2. Authority -- W. Va. Code § 49-2-121.1.3. Filing Date - March 30, 2023.1.4. Effective Date -- April 1, 2023.1.5. Sunset Provision -- This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect on August 1, 2028.1.6. Purpose -- This rule governs the voluntary registration of those informal and relative family child care homes in West Virginia that participate in federal subsidy programs.
