Section 69-19-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- This legislative rule supports implementation of the state's 988 crisis hotline center or centers by allowing appropriate information sharing and communication between and across crisis and emergency response systems for the purpose of real-time crisis care coordination, deployment of crisis and outgoing services, and linked, flexible services specific to crisis response.1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Code § 16-42-6.1.3. Filing Date. -- March 30, 2023.1.4. Effective Date. -- April 1, 2023.1.5. Sunset Provision. -- This rule shall terminate and have no further force or effect on August 1, 2028.1.6. Applicability -- This rule applies to any person, partnership, association, or corporation that operates a 988 crisis hotline center in the state and all other persons or entities engaging in services that assist individuals who use the 988 crisis hotline center.1.7. Enforcement. -- This rule is enforced by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources or his or her lawful designee.
