Section 64-19-10 - Identification Numbers of Water Well Rigs and Well Head10.1. All water well contractors shall ensure that all water well rigs they use or those used by their employees are clearly marked with legible and plainly visible identification numbers at all times.10.2. The identification number to be used on water well drilling rigs is the certification number of the water well driller at the well site who is responsible for the water well drilling operations.10.3. Certification numbers shall be printed on each side of every water well drilling rig in numerals of not less than two inches high and the numerals shall be in a color sufficiently different from the color of the vehicle or equipment so that the certification number is plainly legible.10.4. Water well contractors shall ensure that all water well rigs they use or those used by their employees are clearly marked as provided in subsections 10.2 and 10.3 of this rule.10.5. Each well drilling contractor shall securely attach a metal tag or engraved well cap to the wellhead containing the following information: the contractor's name, address and permit number, the depth of the well and the date of construction or alteration.W.
