Section 61-9-17 - Seeds for Sprouting17.1 The following information shall be indicated on all labels of seeds sold for sprouting for salad or culinary purposes. 17.1.1. Commonly accepted name of kind or kinds. 17.1.3. Percentage by weight of each pure seed component in excess of 5% of the whole, other crop seeds, inert matter and weed seeds if occurring. 17.1.4. Percentage of germination of each pure seed component. 17.1.5. Percentage of hard seed, if present. 17.1.6. The calendar month and year the test was completed to determine such percentages.
