Section 61-7A-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- This rule establishes standards for internal and external egg quality, size and weight classifications for shell eggs. The intent of this legislative rule is to protect and promote the public health and general welfare and to prevent fraud and deception in the production, processing, sale and distribution of eggs.1.2.
