Section 26-1-3 - The Board Procedures3.1. The members of the board shall annually elect a Chairperson and a Secretary-Treasurer for a period of 1 year, both of whom shall hold their offices until their successors are elected. The Board shall hold elections each year.3.2. A vacancy in the officers of the Board may be filled at any convened meeting of the Board.3.3. The Board may employ an executive director, and any other administrative staff.3.4. Before an action can be taken on any matter properly before the Board, at least a majority of the current members must be in attendance.3.5. A member of the Board is entitled to receive compensation as specified in W. Va. Code § 30-1-11.
