Section 187-3-13 - Prehearing Conference
13.1. The presiding officer may conduct a presiding conference before a hearing in any contested case. At such hearing, the presiding officer may: require the parties to brief him regarding the evidence and law concerning all relevant issues; rule on outstanding motions; and set forth other matters which may be necessary to dispose of prior to hearing.
13.2. The presiding officer may require briefs or memoranda from the parties setting forth any matters which the hearing officer deems relevant,
