Section 16-3-3 - DefinitionsThe following words and phrases as used in this rule have the following meanings, unless the context otherwise requires:
3.1. "Applicant" means any person making application for an original or renewal license or a temporary permit to practice Physical Therapy or to assist in the practice of Physical Therapy pursuant to W. Va. Code '30-20-1 et seq.3.2. "Board" means the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapy.3.3. "License" means a license or temporary permit issued by the Board to practice Physical Therapy or to assist in the practice of Physical Therapy pursuant to W. Va. Code '30-20-1 et seq.3.4. "Physical Therapist" means a person who practices Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy Aides and Physical Therapist Assistants are persons who assist in the practice of Physical Therapy as defined in W. Va. Code '30-20-2.3.5. "Ethics investigator" means a person licensed to practice Physical Therapy in this State, and who is hired by the Board for the purpose of reviewing complaints against Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Aides, Physical Therapist Assistants, Permittees and Applicants.
