Section 141-70-8 - Special Requirements/Responsibilitiesa. Commander, 2/19th SFGA will designate, by Memorandum, one member of The GBPT to be Point of Contact (POC) for coordination of activities.b. ADSW (non-pay status) is authorized for approved demonstrations and Orders will be requested by the Commander, 2/19th SFGA or his designated representative thru the POMSO no less than 5 days prior to the demonstration, thus allowing DCSPER sufficient time to publish Orders prior to the demonstration. In the event a member of The GBPT, on Orders, fails to perform the duty, the POMSO is to be notified immediately so revocation action can be taken.c. The GBPT must make the necessary arrangements to have one member of the team on the ground as a narrator for each event. Narrator is to have a "canned" verbal presentation of sufficient time length to entertain and properly advise the viewing public of all activities taking place. The GBPT is responsible for the hand receipt of the proper Public Address Equipment from existing unit resources, providing equipment of this type is not furnished by the sponsoring organization. d. PAO is responsible for arranging media coverage (when available).e. The RRM is responsible for insuring that a minimum of one fulltime Recruiter is on the scene to field questions from prospects and provide information about the Army National Guard.f. The GBPT will perform each demonstration in a Federal ADSW (nonpay status) except when the Commander, 2/19th SFGA has specifically authorized their performance in an IDT status. In the event that this approval is granted, it is the responsibility of the commander to insure the training schedule properly reflects the demonstration and in the event of a change to the schedule, submit the change to TAG-WV, ATTN: DCSOPS.g. Commander, 2/ 19th SFGA is responsible for taking the necessary administrative actions as per State Safety SOP in event of death or injury of a member(s) of The GBPT while participating in proficiency training or a demonstration jump.h. News media representatives will not be authorized to ride on the military aircraft without prior written approval of TAG-WV. Requests for such approval will be forwarded to the WVAR-PO-P.W. Va.
