Section 126-161-1 - General1.1. Scope. -- This legislative rule establishes a process for the development of alternative programs for the education of teachers through which qualified persons will become licensed teachers in West Virginia pursuant to W. Va. Code §§ 18A-3-1a through 18A-3-1j and the West Virginia Board of Education (WVBE) approval processes for officially recognizing pedagogical standards and programs pursuant to W. Va. Code § 18A-3-2a(a)(1)(C).1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Constitution, Article XII, §2, and W. Va.
