Section 126-131-2 - EligibilityA Professional Administrative Certificate endorsed for superintendent may be issued provisionally for a period of three (3) years provided:
2.1. The applicant: a. Holds a Professional Teaching Certificate or a Vocational Certificateb. Has completed five (5) years of successful educational experience in the public schools, including three years of classroom experience.c. Has completed the requirements for a masters degree relevant to the improvement of instruction from an institution of higher education accredited to grant the degree.d. Has completed an approved superintendent graduate program of thirty (30) semester hours which included program objectives 1-8.e. Holds a Salary Classification at the MA 4- 15. level.2.2. The institution: a. Certifies that the applicant has satisfactorily completed its approved program for superintendent or is enrolled in such a program and has completed the minimum requirements stated in item (4) above.b. Recommends the issuance of a Professional Administrative Certificate issued provisionally and endorsed for superintendent.W. Va. Code R. § 126-131-2
