Section 126-98-3 - Procedures3.1. The Student Handbook - Student Rights and Responsibilities shall be developed by the State Department of Education with input from school personnel. 3.2. The Handbook will be reviewed and revised as necessary. 3.3. The State Department of Education will provide four copies of the Handbook to all K-8 schools for placement in the school=s main office, the principal=s office, the counselor=s office, and the library-media center. 3.4. The State Department of Education will provide a master copy of the Handbook to each school serving students in grades 9-12, and a master copy of the Handbook summary statements. 3.5. Each school serving students in grades 9-12 shall provide a copy of the Handbook summary statements to each student in the school. These summary statements shall be made part of the school handbook provided to each student. The school=s handbook shall also state, "Students may view a copy of the entire Student Handbook - Student Rights and Responsibilities in the school=s main office, in the principal=s office, in the counselor=s office, or in the library-media center."W.
