Section 126-44U-1 - General

1.1. Scope. -- W. Va. 126CSR42, West Virginia Board of Education Policy 2510, Assuring the Quality of Education: Regulations for Education Programs (Policy 2510), provides a definition of a delivery system for, and an assessment and accountability system for, a thorough and efficient education for West Virginia public school students. Policy 2520.19 defines the content standards and objectives for assisting students with career exploration to assure that all students in grade 5-12 are prepared in all pathways for seamless entry into post-secondary education or the workforce.

1.2. Authority. -- W. Va. Constitution, Article XII, §2, W. Va. Code §§ 18-2-5 and 18-9A-22.

1.3. Filing Date. -- May 13, 2010.

1.4. Effective Date. -- June 14, 2010.

1.5. Repeal of Former Rule. -- This legislative rule amends W. Va. 126CSR44U, West Virginia Board of Education Policy 2520.19, "21^st Century Advisor/Advisee 5-12 Content Standards and Objectives for West Virginia Schools" filed August 15, 2008 and effective September 15, 2008.
