Section 110-42-14 - Confidentiality14.1. General. -- The business of the Tax Division shall be conducted in such a manner as to ensure the privacy rights of all applicants and employees, in accordance with W. Va. Code §§ 29B-1-1 et seq., the State Freedom of Information Act and 5A-8-1et seq., the Public Records Management and Preservation Act. Applicant and employee residential addresses and phone numbers, applicant and employee medical information, and other information which the Tax Commissioner, or the Director may deem confidential shall be maintained under strictest confidentiality and released only upon proper written authorization of the applicant or employee or by order of a court of competent jurisdiction.W.
