Section 67-25-210 - Assessment-Adaptive skills of blindness(1) As a part of the assessment to determine vocational rehabilitation service needs, there must be a determination of each individual's use of and ability to benefit from adaptive skills of blindness. Rehabilitation objectives and service needs identified with the eligible individual during this assessment process shall be incorporated into the individualized plan for employment.(2) Adaptive skills of blindness assessment include, as appropriate in each case: (a) Communications, including braille and keyboarding;(c) Orientation and mobility;(e) Activities of daily living;(f) Personal adjustment to blindness, and if applicable, adjustment to other disabilities;(g) Ability to benefit from rehabilitation technology; and(h) Use of residual vision and ability to benefit from low vision devices and related training.Wash.
