School districts shall use information contained in the notice of eligibility or other such forms or statements only to determine low-income status or to compile the number of students that are low-income. School districts may not release information contained in a notice of eligibility or other such forms or statements. School districts may release the number of low-income students so long as the students are not identified. Such information is to be used for state allocations and for statistical purposes.
