Section 388-835-0855 - What if a resident's circumstances change causing a provider to contribute more to the resident's care?(1) If a provider receives documentation verifying a change in a resident's income or resources that will reduce the resident's ability to contribute to the cost of their care, the provider must report this information in writing to the DDA regional services office within seventy-two hours.(2) Any necessary corrections should be made in the next ICF/ID statement and a copy of the supporting documentation should be attached.(3) If a provider receives increased funds for a resident, the normal amount must be allowed for clothing, personal, and incidental expenses and the balance must be applied to the cost of care.Wash.
