Section 388-829C-200 - When must a companion home provider be delegated to perform nursing tasks?(1) The companion home provider must meet requirements for nurse delegation no more than thirty days after the client's need for medication administration or a delegated nursing task is identified by a delegating nurse when a change in the client's health or ability to manage their own medications occurs.(2) If the companion home provider is not qualified to perform delegated nursing tasks, the task must be provided by a person legally authorized to do so until the provider meets nurse delegation requirements.Wash.
