Section 296-307-632 - Summary

Employer responsibility:

To prevent employee hearing loss by minimizing, and providing protection from, noise exposures.

The employer must meet the requirements...in this section:
Conduct employee noise exposure monitoring. WAC 296-307-63205
Control employee noise exposures that equal or exceed 90 dBA TWA8. WAC 296-307-63210
Make sure employees use hearing protection when their noise exposure equals or exceed 85 dBA TWA8. WAC 296-307-63215
