Section 296-307-45545 - Provide safe electrical wiring and equipment where the liquid can drip or splash

The employer must make sure all electrical wiring and equipment in the vapor area is approved for areas that have:

(1) Deposits of easily ignited residue;
(2) Explosive vapor.

Exemption:

This does not apply to wiring that is:

1. In rigid conduit, threaded boxes or fittings;

2. Has no taps, splices, or terminal connections.
