Section 246-915-140 - Personnel identification(1) Each person shall wear identification showing his or her clinical title, and their role in the facility as a physical therapist, a physical therapist assistant, a physical therapy aide, a graduate physical therapist, or a graduate physical therapist assistant as appropriate. Trained supportive personnel may not use any term or designation which indicates or implies that he or she is licensed as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant in the state of Washington.(2) The physical therapist or physical therapist assistant shall post the license or interim permit, or a copy of the license or interim permit, or a printout from the department's provider credential search web site, in a safe, conspicuous location at the physical therapist's or physical therapist assistant's work site. The physical therapist or physical therapist assistant may block out his or her address before posting the license or interim permit. If the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant does not have a principal place of business or conducts business in any other location, he or she shall have a copy of his or her license available for inspection while performing services within his or her authorized scope of practice.
