Section 246-836-140 - Provisional approval of colleges of naturopathic medicine

Provisional approval is approval given to an unapproved program while the program is undergoing the process of gaining full program approval. The board may grant provisional approval to a naturopathic college which has been in continuous operation for at least one year. Provisional approval may be granted for a period not to exceed two and one-half years and may not be renewed or extended. Provisional approval shall neither imply nor assure eventual full approval.

(1) In order to obtain provisional approval, a naturopathic college must demonstrate compliance with, or adequate planning and resources to achieve compliance with, the standards contained in this chapter and RCW 18.36A.100.
(2) The procedures for application, examination, review and revocation of provisional approval shall be the same as those specified for full approval in this chapter.
