Section 182-70-270 - Data procedures at the end of the project(1) Upon the end of the project or the termination of the data use agreement, the data recipient shall destroy all WA-APCD data. The data recipient must provide to the lead organization an attestation that the data has been destroyed according to the required standards set forth in the DUA. The attestation shall account for all copies of the data being used by the requestor, its employees, subcontractors, and any other person provided access to the data. Attestation of destruction should be in the form as prescribed by the lead organization.(2) The attestation of data destruction must be provided within ten business days from the end of the project or termination of the DUA or confidentiality agreement, whichever is sooner.(3) Failure to destroy data or provide attestation of the destruction may result in other penalties or regulatory actions.Wash.
