Section 173-700-242 - Public hearings(1) The sponsor, any interested government entity, any group, or any person may request a public hearing on the bank certification.(2) The written request must be received by the department during the comment periods for the prospectus or the proposed bank certification.(3) Any request for a public hearing shall indicate the interest of the party filing it and why a hearing is warranted.(4) The department shall determine, in its sole discretion, if significant public interest exists to hold a public hearing.(5) The department shall provide at least fourteen days' notice prior to any hearing.Wash.
