Section 173-490-010 - Policy and purpose(1) It is the policy of the department of ecology (ecology) under the authority vested in it by chapter 43.21A RCW to provide for the systematic control of air pollution from air contaminant sources and for the proper development of the state's natural resources.(2) It is the purpose of this chapter to establish technically feasible and reasonably attainable standards for sources emitting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and revise such standards as new information and better technology are developed and become available.Wash.
