Section 170-297-6275 - Abuse and neglect - Protection and training(1) The licensee and program staff must: (a) Protect children in care from all forms of child abuse or neglect as defined in RCW 26.44.020; and(b) Report suspected or actual abuse or neglect as required under RCW 26.44.030 to DSHS children's administration intake (child protective services) or law enforcement.(2) The licensee or designee must provide training for program staff and volunteers on: (a) Prevention of child abuse and neglect as defined in RCW 26.44.020; and(b) Mandatory reporting requirements under RCW 26.44.030.Wash.
