Section 16-309-170 - Foreign matter inspection(1) The laboratory must analyze not less than 30 percent of the total representative sample of cannabis and cannabis products prior to sample homogenization to determine whether foreign material is present.(2) The laboratory must report the result of the foreign material test by indicating "pass" or "fail."(3) The laboratory must use a microscope with photographic capabilities or a camera with magnification or resolution to document the presence of foreign matter. Magnification will only be required when something is identified and the picture without magnification does not allow identification of the foreign matter.(4) The laboratory must document the observation with a detailed description of any foreign matter and photograph the sample supporting the report.(5) The foreign matter inspection must be performed in a clean and sanitary location that prevents contamination or degradation prior to other testing.Wash.
