Section 16-610-013 - Livestock identification advisory committee-Vacancies(1) To fill a vacancy resulting from an expired term, the director must solicit nominations from the organization representing the group statewide. Nominations from industry groups must be submitted to the director before May 1 of the year in which the term expires. If a nomination is not received for a vacant position, the director may appoint a qualified person to fill that position.(2) The director may fill, for the unexpired portion of a term, vacancies that occur before a term expires. When such vacancies occur, the director will solicit nominations from organizations representing the groups statewide, which may then submit names to the director for consideration.Wash. Admin.
