Section 110-60A-0355 - Participant rights - What are the participant rights that a program must follow and provide to the participant?(1) Each certified program must provide assessment and treatment participants with rights.(2) The participant's record must include a copy of the rights, which are signed by the participant and include the following:(a) A treatment program must provide each participant with the highest quality of service;(b) Treatment program staff must establish a climate where all relationships with colleagues and participants are respectful;(c) Each participant must have the assurance that the program staff will conduct themselves professionally, and avoid unprofessional conduct as specified in RCW 18.130.180;(d) Staff working for a treatment program must not engage in or tolerate verbal abuse, physical abuse, sexual harassment, or exploitation towards a program participant;(e) Each participant enrolled in domestic violence intervention treatment must have a written contract signed by the participant and the treatment program staff that meets therequirements of WAC 388-60A-0370; and(f) The participant has the right to request reports and other related materials from their individual file which must be sent directly to the participant or their attorney in a timely manner when it is requested by the participant and they have signed an applicable release of information.Wash.
