Section 6VAC35-41-300 - Orientation and training for volunteers or internsA. Volunteers and interns shall be provided with a basic orientation on the following: 2. The population served;3. The basic objectives of the facility;4. The facility's organizational structure;5. Security, population control, emergency, emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures;6. The practices of confidentiality;7. The residents' rights, including but not limited to the prohibited actions provided for in 6VAC35-41-560 (prohibited actions); and8. The basic requirements of and competencies necessary to perform their duties and responsibilities.B. Volunteers and interns shall be trained within 30 days from their start date at the facility in the following: 1. Any procedures that are applicable to their duties and responsibilities; and2.
