Section 12VAC5-462-290 - Water quality standards

Free chlorine and bromine residuals and pH values and temperature shall be continuously maintained within the following ranges:

1. Pools.

Chlorine	1.0 ppm	3.0 ppm
Bromine	2.0 ppm	4.0 ppm
pH		7.2	7.8
Temperature		none	104° Fahrenheit (40° Celsius) (Heated Pools Only)

2. Spas.

Water Quality Standards

Chlorine	2.0 ppm	10.0 ppm
Bromine	2.0 ppm	10.0 ppm
pH		7.2	7.8
Temperature		none	104° Fahrenheit (40° Celsius)
