Section R986-600-605 - Basic Career Services Basic career services include:
(1) registration for services;(2) providing the following informational resources: (a) outreach, intake, and orientation to, and information about, available services, including resource and referral services;(b) local, regional and national labor market information including job vacancy listings and occupations in demand and the skills necessary to obtain those jobs and occupations;(c) performance measures with respect to the one-stop delivery system and(d) performance information and program cost for eligible training providers and programs.(4) rapid response services;(6) assessment of skill levels, aptitudes, abilities, and supportive service needs;(7) job search and placement assistance, and where appropriate, career counseling and workshops;(8) Referral to and coordination of activities with other programs and services within the one-stop delivery system and other community programs, and(9) determining if a client is eligible for, and assistance in, applying for: WIOA funded programs, unemployment insurance benefits, financial aid assistance available for training and educational programs not funded under WIOA, food stamps (SNAP), other supportive services such as child care, medical services, and transportation.Utah Admin.
