Section R982-101-100 - Authority and Purpose(1) The legal authority for these rules is found in U. C. A. Sections 35A-1-104 and 63G-3-201(3) and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). (2) No qualified individual with a disability, by reason of such disability, shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits, services, programs, or activities of the Department, or be subjected to discrimination by the Department.(3) The Department will provide prompt and equitable resolution of all complaints filed with, received by, or referred to the Department by qualified individuals with disabilities arising from exclusion from participation in, or denial of benefits or services, programs or activities, administered by the Department.Utah Admin.
