Section R714-570-9 - Agency Accountability(1) First responder agencies that receive funding shall: (a) use the awarded resources only in the manner set forth in Section 53-21-103;(b) maintain records for five years sufficient to show how the funding is used;(c) cooperate with the committee if and when the committee determines it is necessary to audit agency records, and evaluate use of the funding; and(d) provide a quarterly report to the committee that includes: (i) the amount of grant funding awarded to the agency;(ii) the amount of grant funding spent by the agency, and the purposes for which the grant funding was spent;(iii) the amount of grant funding not yet spent by the agency;(iv) the number of first responders, family members of first responders, retired or separated first responders, and spouses of retired or separated first responders served; and(v) the types of services provided.(2) If the committee determines that an agency has used grant funding for purposes not specified in Section 53-21-103, the agency shall return the grant funding to the committee.Utah Admin.
