Section R638-1-1 - Authority, Purpose, and Scope(1) Authority: This rule is authorized under Subsection 79-3-202(2).(2) Purpose: This rule enables the Utah Geological Survey to have access to confidential information which it otherwise could not acquire, or which is beyond the financial capability of the Survey to acquire.(3) Scope: This rule provides: (a) guidelines for determining whether to accept confidential information;(b) the types of information that will be maintained as confidential; and(c) the process to be used for accepting and maintaining confidential information.Utah Admin.
